So, I woke up this morning to find that one of my interweb friends decided to name a butterfly after me for her Butterfly Project.
and the impact it caused me was….overwhelming.
we only know each other via Twitter and for such simple reason as mutual interest, and I have been able to help only very little. yet she still wants to have that one butterfly named after me and she seems very excited about it, and that makes me realize that even a little is enough.
even the tiniest bit of display of love and care is enough for those who desperately need it out there.
so here is my butterfly.
to anyone out there who is emotionally hurt enough to hurt themselves, please feel free to have this butterfly.
I may not know you. but I do care. this is not just a sweet nonsense, but I really do. I want you to be happy and healthy. I love and admire you for how you have been fighting so fiercely to endure everything up until this time.
so please stay strong, and take good care of my butterfly ♥

I’m gonna share a little story with you guys of something that just happened.

I took this pictures with my little brother just now, he also loves Harry Potter and I was so excited when I finally got him to read the books.

We took these pictures and we were super excited about them and I decided to post them on Instagram. This girl saw the picture and left a comment saying something like”THIS IS SOOOO RIDICULOUS! You two look like two nerds! Hahahaha.”

This truly made me upset. I am a fervent believer that if you don’t have something nice to say, you should keep your thoughts to yourself.

So I told her that I LOVE READING. That I LOVE Harry Potter, always have and always will and this sort of thing makes me really happy and I hope that I won’t ever stop doing things like this, and that I’d much rather do this and look like a nerd, because there’s absolutely NOTHING WRONG with being a nerd, then do what girls these days have been doing: taking pictures of themselves in front of a mirror, being all vain and mean and sounding like Narcissus.

I have a very strong personality and I won’t ever stop doing these things because of what other people may think of me, and no one should. It makes me very angry because my little brother is only 12 years old and someone “criticizing” him like this might make him want to stop being himself, which would be a terrible thing.

So yeah, don’t ever let anyone stop you from being who you are and make you think that being a nerd is a bad thing. Without knowing it, she paid me a great compliment, because I think BEING A NERD IS AWESOME!
